Today Privacy Policy
Today is a native Mac planner that sits on top of Apple Reminders and Calendar. This Privacy Policy explains what information the website and the app may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Summary
Today reads and updates Apple Reminders and Calendar through the accounts already signed in on your Mac. Planning details such as projects, meeting notes, follow-ups, and preferences stay in a local store on this machine. There is no Today cloud account and no mobile app.
If you join the website waiting list, we collect your email address so we can tell you when Today is on the Mac App Store. We do not sell or share that address.
Waiting list
If you join the waiting list on the Today website, we collect the email address you submit. We use it only to tell you when Today is available on the Mac App Store.
Submissions are sent to Formspark, the form service at https://submit-form.com/zAba9aqBf. Formspark stores the address for us so we can send that notice. We do not sell it, share it with other companies, or use it for unrelated marketing.

Information stored on your Mac
Reminders and calendar events remain in Apple Reminders and Calendar. Today may create or update those items when you plan, schedule, complete, or edit tasks in the app.
Today stores its own planning details locally on this Mac, including projects, meeting notes, follow-ups, activity history, and preferences such as visible calendars and lists.
Permissions you can grant
Reminders — required. Today needs Reminders access to run.
Calendar — required for the timeline view. If calendar access is later revoked, reminder planning still works.
Notifications — optional. Used for follow-up reminders you choose to receive.
Analytics and advertising
Today does not show third-party ads. Today does not sell personal information.
Your choices
You can revoke Reminders or Calendar access in System Settings, turn off notifications, delete local planning data by removing the app, or email hello@jordansimpson.io with privacy questions.
